Étoile du Nord is an exceptional architectural chalet development located in the prestigious ski resort of Val d’Isère, France. Situated in the heart of the popular Petit Alaska district, the two chalets are just a ten-minute walk or a three-minute drive from the slopes, and only a short distance from the lively village center.

The chalets are accessed via an exclusive private tunnel, and feature lift access and separate staff accommodations. These amenities offer an unparalleled level of privacy and luxury – truly unique in Val d’Isère. Inside, the high-quality finishes are immediately noticeable. The carefully selected materials and refined details elevate the interiors to a level rarely seen in the Alps. Thanks to thoughtful architecture and sophisticated interior design, the chalets are not only visually stunning but also warm, inviting, and ideally suited for families.

As part of the chalet requirements, sun shading systems were also necessary. For this, we partnered with Simplicity Blinds in the UK. In total, we produced 21 sun shading systems from our GJ – SZ Series. Our partner requested rectangular systems that operate from bottom to top and are powered by Becker E12 motors. The systems are fitted with Soltis 92 fabrics, with some also equipped with blackout fabrics from the Soltis Opaque 6002 collection. All systems were delivered by us to France, after which Simplicity Blinds completed the full installation in Val d’Isère within just a few days.
