After launching an acrylic fabric collection, Guillaume Janssen – a producer of innovative solar shading systems and fabric maker – introduced its own screen fabric collection last year. This collection has been so well-received in the solar shading market that the range is now being expanded. “This further strengthens our role as an independent fabric maker,” says account manager Ruben de Jong.
As a leading independent fabric maker, Guillaume Janssen has stocked screen and acrylic fabric collections from Europe’s top solar shading suppliers for over 40 years. Recently, the company invested in an additional sealing machine for the confection of its various screen fabric collections. “We are actively working on expanding our new Sergé screen fabric collection, marketed under the name GJ – Solar Screen Collection,” Ruben explains. “By 2025, the variety of colors will grow from 10 to 23. In addition to Sergé designs, the collection also includes 10 Soltis Veozip designs. These fabrics stand out due to the advanced Smart Yarn Technology, which minimizes rippling and adds extra durability to the fabric.”
Air-Purifying Fabric
Guillaume Janssen’s unique fabric collections are divided into several categories. “This allows us to supply the entire solar shading industry with the right type of fabric,” Ruben clarifies. One such category is the GJ-Solar Pro Collection, which features the Sauleda Green by Guillaume Janssen fabric. “This is the first sunshade fabric that purifies the air through photocatalysis. This coating also makes the fabric significantly more resistant to dirt and staining. With this revolutionary fabric, we recently completed an exciting replacement project in Amsterdam in collaboration with our client, with a focus on eco-friendliness and sustainability.”
Soltis Tour
Since 2000, Guillaume Janssen has established its name in the European international market as a producer of innovative solar shading systems. On February 14, 2025, businesses from across the sunshade industry will have the opportunity to learn more about the Zwolle-based company. “On that day, the European roadshow of our supplier Serge Ferrari will visit our premises, showcasing the SOLTIS® brand to professionals in two showroom trucks,” says Ruben. “We will also offer visitors the chance to explore our model showroom and workshop in Zwolle. We warmly invite everyone to come and view our new collections or visit our updated website at gjbv.nl.”
