At Utrecht Science Park, Accelerator has been realized, developed, and operated by Kadans Science Partner and designed by the architectural firm Cepezed. The design is based on the vision of initiators Genmab and Merus; improving patients' lives by developing innovative therapies for the treatment of cancer, partly through valuable collaborations.

Accelerator provides ample space for meetings and collaborations in the auditorium, meeting rooms, and the extensive restaurant. All of these facilities are located in the transparent and lively base of the building. The base functions are connected to a spectacular atrium, where traffic areas and informal meeting spaces are situated, ensuring constant activity and natural encounters.

The building, with a floor area of approximately 22,000 m2 spread over 12 floors, has been realized with a high sustainability ambition, achieving BREEAM Excellent. The design is highly flexible, and there is a strong focus on creating a pleasant, healthy working environment.

To filter incoming sunlight, our partner Gevex has installed special solutions for the curtain wall (GJ-ZP Custom).
