Paleis Het Loo, located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn in the Netherlands, is a national monument embodying a rich history of royal splendor. With it's lush gardens, majestic architecture, and unparalleled art collection, it is a true treasure reflecting the glory of the Dutch kingdom through the ages. The palace was originally built in the 17th century, during the Dutch Golden Age, serving as a summer residence for the House of Orange-Nassau, the Dutch royal family. Today, the museum of the palace attracts visitors from around the world who come to admire its lavish interiors, extensive art collections, and luxurious gardens. The museum offers insight into the life and history of the Dutch royal family, with exhibitions showcasing artifacts, furniture, and paintings spanning centuries of royal heritage.
Over the past five years, Paleis Het Loo has undergone an extensive renovation, which also included the renewal of the sun shading systems. As part of this unique project, we have had the opportunity to develop and manufacture more than twenty special sun shading systems. Our partner, De Haan Westerhoff, installed these systems on-site in the autumn of 2022.
