Richemont owns some of the world’s leading luxury brands in the fields of jewelry, watches, and writing instruments. The Maisons™ include prestigious names such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, Dunhill, and Chloé. Since 2000, Richemont has been housed in three monumental canal houses in Amsterdam, featuring an 18th-century interior in Louis XIV style. Additionally, the building has an office section spanning seven floors, with the top floor converted into a meeting and dining lounge offering a stunning view over the city.

For this office building, the architect was looking for a solar shading solution that could roll up upwards and cover a span of 8.5 meters. The architect approached us directly for this project to find a suitable solution. For this project, we supplied straight systems from our GJ - MW Series, equipped with stainless steel cable guidance to ensure optimal operation. We also chose open systems without cassettes, making maintenance at height easier. To keep the fabrics taut, we applied a heavier spring system and equipped the systems with Soltis 92 fabrics. The systems were installed on-site at the beginning of 2025 by our partner Excelsior Zonwering.
